Reviewer Guidelines
Introduction
PestBytes Journal relies on the expertise and commitment of qualified reviewers to maintain the quality, integrity, and scientific rigor of the articles it publishes. Peer review is a critical component of scholarly publishing and plays an essential role in ensuring that published research and professional contributions are accurate, relevant, ethical, and valuable to the pest management community.
Reviewers are expected to provide objective, constructive, timely, and confidential evaluations of submitted manuscripts.
Peer Review Model
PestBytes Journal follows a Double-Blind Peer Review process, whereby:

Reviewer Responsibilities
Reviewers are expected to:

All manuscripts received for review are confidential documents.
Reviewers must not:

Retain copies of manuscripts after completion of review.

Reviewer Recommendations
Reviewers may recommend one of the following decisions:
Accept
The manuscript is suitable for publication with no significant revisions.
Minor Revisions
The manuscript requires small modifications before publication.
Major Revisions
The manuscript requires substantial revision and re-evaluation before publication can be considered.
Reject
The manuscript does not meet the standards or scope of the Journal and is unsuitable for publication.
Final publication decisions are made by the Editor based on reviewer comments and editorial assessment.
Constructive Feedback
Reviewers are encouraged to:

Review Timelines

Reviewer Qualifications
